BGT Event #2 Clifton Springs GC Friday March 27
With five late scratchings, 17 of the original 22 golfers took on the Clifton Springs course today for the time honoured Bronwyn Bishop Cup/s.
Blustery winds, coupled with the tricky greens, made for challenging conditions.
We welcomed our latest addition in Martin Cutter, who did the right thing as a newbie by finishing mid-table.
The four NTP's went to David Panifex, Chook, Wog and Pappy.
Jeffsy took Gold with a well compiled 35 points.
He may have scored even better had he listened to instructions and not played off the back tees!
Pigoire the Silver with (supposedly) 33 points scoring on a card.
I had stipulated that only those using MiScore were eligible for prizes.
I crumpled like a deck of cards, and Pig got his bottle of wine.
Wog collected Bronze with 31 points, collecting a bottle of Savignon Blanc plus Pig's unwanted Chardonnay.
Wog doesn't drink. One bottle of wine is useless. Two bottles more useless.
Pugsley pipped Greg Dennis for the NAGA.
He claimed he had 20 points but MiScore had him at 17. I took the latter.
